Boulevard Armchair
The Boulevard Armchair was born from a love of vintage furniture, and a need for the exquisite quality that Davison London can provide. A slightly different take on the theme of Californian luxury and 1970s American elegance, the tub-like form of the Boulevard makes it easy to integrate into a range of interiors. As with other pieces in the collection, we found inspiration for the piece in David Hockney’s iconic works from this period. Hence the echoes of the punchy colour palette and all-American pizazz of 70’s LA that so bewitched Hockney. The Boulevard, with its slightly retro edge, holds a mirror up to that era, with its love of innovation and cheeky, light-hearted style.
